PMI è un indice della direzione prevalente delle tendenze economiche nei settori manifatturiero e dei servizi. The HCOB France Manufacturing PMI fell to 43.2 in November 2024, down from 44.5 in October and below the expected 44.5, preliminary estimates showed. This marked the 22nd consecutive month of contraction and the steepest decline since January, as factory orders continued to shrink both domestically and internationally. Manufacturers highlighted significant struggles in the automotive, construction, and cosmetic industries. Additionally, despite weak demand, input prices saw a sharp rise compared to the previous month, while output prices declined. Consequently, factory workforce reductions continued in November, and firms maintained a downbeat outlook.
