Una bilancia commerciale positiva indica un surplus commerciale mentre una bilancia commerciale negativa indica un deficit commerciale. Il BOT è una componente importante nel determinare il conto corrente di un paese.
Ultimi aggiornamenti
Slovakia's trade surplus narrowed to EUR 391.7 million in October 2024 from EUR 525.3 million in the same month last year, as imports rose more than exports. Exports advanced 3.9% year-on-year to EUR 10,416.9 million, primarily due to higher sales for machinery and transport equipment, particularly motor vehicles. Exports to the EU and non-EU countries grew 2.6% and 8.6%, respectively. At the same time, imports increased 5.5% to EUR 10,025.2 million, mainly driven by a rise in imports of machinery and transport equipment and miscellaneous industrial products. Arrivals from the EU and non-EU countries went up 4.4% and 7.6%, respectively. For the January to October period, the country's trade surplus shrank to EUR 3,713 million from EUR 4,365 million in the corresponding period of the previous year.
