Svezia Produzione Industriale

Industrial production in Sweden rose by 5% year-on-year in May 2025, slowing from an upwardly revised 5.3% advance in the previous month. This marked the second consecutive month of growth in industrial activity but at a softer pace, as output tumbled for mining and quarrying (-0.8% vs 8.9% in April). Additionally, production decreased further for electricity, gas, steam and hot water plants (-3.4% vs -0.9%). On the other hand, activity increased at a faster rate for the manufacturing sector (5.2% vs 5%). On a monthly basis, industrial output went up by 0.6% in May, easing from a slightly downwardly revised 3.3% gain in the preceding period.
