Albania Tasso Di Inflazione

The annual inflation rate in Albania slowed to 2.2% in May 2025 from 2.3% in the previous month, driven by softer price growth in food and non-alcoholic beverages (3.2% vs 3.8% in April), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (3.7% vs 3.9%), clothing and footwear (2.5% vs 2.7%), and miscellaneous goods and services (1.1% vs 1.3%). Conversely, inflation accelerated in housing and utilities (1.5% vs 1.1%), while the pace of deflation eased in transport (-1.2% vs -2.6%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices fell 0.3% in May, reversing a 0.1% gain in April.
